The HFO
holds many events throughout the year to raise funds to
help us with out mission.
With the
help of the HFO supporter and spokesman, Bernie Williams
of the New York Yankees, our main event is an annual
dinner and Auction which Bernie hosts each year.
He invites one of his teammates to join us at each
dinner as our special guest for the evening. We
had a guest which include Luis Sojo, Joe Torre, Mariano
Rivera and Darryl Strawberry. In 2007 Michael Kay
of the YES Network joined us for our special rendition
of "Center Stage" with Bernie and Darryl. John
Sterling of the WCBS Radio and YES Network was out guest
Auctioneer for the evening.
